Rose & the Bros – Hot Cajun spiced Zydeco from Ithaca – Sat April 18

“Rose and the Bros” … a powerful young Cajun spiced Zydeco band from Ithaca taking the Northeast dance scene by storm.  They specialize in Zydeco and Cajun music from SW Louisiana as well as crooning country songs.  The “Bros” features revered “fiddler” Rosie Newton on “accordion”. Backed by an amazing crew of Ithaca based musicians inspired by the downhome groove and vibe of the ALL NIGHT Zydeco and Cajun “Dances” at The Grassroots Festival in Trumansburg. The members, all accomplished and revered musicians in their own right, were drawn together by a shared love of the deep dance grooves Zydeco possesses.
