RCZN presents Brandon Moreau & the Butter Bean String Band ~ AKA the Cajun Flavored Henrie Brothers w/ Ric Robertson

On Saturday November 8th, RCZN is hosting "Brandon Moreau & the Butter Bean String Band".

Brandon, a revered Cajun fiddler & vocalist born & raised in Basile, Louisiana, is teaming up with the Cajun flavored Henrie Brothers, a celebrated family of string driven musicians from Middlesex NY … AND … his friend, from their days in NOLA, Ric Robertson on guitar.

Growing up in Basile LA, Brandon was deeply influenced by the hometown hero, Cajun music legend, Dewey Balfa, whose style is core to Brandon’s fiddle style and feel.  In addition to Dewey Balfa, Brandon learned Cajun music from both his father Kim and grandfather Vorrance Moreau, so was influenced by their prairie style from day one. 

After years of playing in Cajun bands throughout Acadiana, Brandon was drawn New Orleans to expand his musical horizons, where he’s lived and performed for over a decade. Once in NOLA playing on…
